was so looking forward to timbre yday, but it got screwed. well, first things first, i must mention that i was pissed w ying and her not informing me of the lack of seats there. met zk's sis (cecilia) after chrispian's show at Nat Museum. told ying that 3 of us were heading down alr, and she made no mention of the fact that there were no more seats or space. so we spent the cab fare to get there just to realize that there were no seats, said hi, bye, and left. i don't know if i was being emo or what, but it just all felt like my frens were way insensitive. i dont hide emotions very well, so sorry to those who had to put up with my temper and bear with my face. fine, that aside, we left and lzk had to point out to me that it was MY fault instead. cos i didnt make it a point to ask her straight "are there seats there for us?". well, to me it was commonsense, and lzk insisted that what seems commonsense to me is not so commonsense to others. FINE.
we walked all the way to dhoby ghaut with this awkward silence cos i didnt want to talk and cecilia got too scared to talk to me. then chris called and said he was going back and we could meet him for mj at his place. we spent the rest of the night on mj then.
came home this afternoon to face a very irritating mom. i have no idea what's wrong with her, but she totally pissed me off with all her illogical rants and screamings and what's not. so i blew my top. full stop.
fucked up weekend.

happie birthday hua! though it appeared a day late on my blog, im sure u'd rmr ur 21st bday for all that happened yday. and u've got a gift for memory's sake! ur polkadot swimsuit! =)
my first experience at home club yday. it as pathetically tiny and their drinks didn't impress. the rest that made up the horrible night (or hilarious night) was not cos of the club, but cos of ying's company. we sat thru a model show analyzing fats and flabs, aunty faces, cellulite, and *GASPS* pubic hair. its almost impossible to explain how bad it was. we had to hide our faces cos our expressions were so mean, and i swear i couldnt hide my laughter most of the time. i was literally screaming cos i was so shocked by some. that's why there's karma, and my voice is hoarse today. HAHA. i bet many in the audience felt like they could strut their stuff better than those up there. oh eeeeeyurks.
so i drank a lil and my emotions were high after the bad experience. came home to read more unpleasant stuffs in my inbox. i've said this to so many frens, but lemme just finally blog it. i've a proj member, S, who doesn't turn up for class and meetings and all. she cites reasons like she's got stomach flu, urinary tract infection, low blood pressure and what's not. on top of that, she was in malaysia for a week or so cos a relative passed away. she does not pick up our phone calls and does not reply to smses promptly, causing alot of delay in terms of decision making in the group. for our first group assignment, her job was to collate different sections, edit them and make the entire essay flow. in the end, it was a "cut and paste" job which made us suffer terribly in terms of grades. not just HER grades, its ALL of our grades. we were obviously pissed, cos we did our parts, and yet we had to do badly cos one member failed to do her job. then there was an interview session which she facilitated (but we arranged everything, from venue to the questions, we provided them all) for our proj, and she screwed things up and we had to redo the interview session. after that incident, we never saw her in class again. after a few threats to take her out of our group, she tried to explain herself and her situation. i understand, and i can sympathize, but i don't think my pity for her situation would make up for EVERYTHING she's put our group through. our lecturer demanded for MCs and the death certificate for verification cos she hasn't been attending class for way too long. then she came up with ludicrous excuses like "my MC is with my employer but i can produce one day MCs from the clinics. this is because i went to the clinic before my condition worsened and i had to be hospitalized." and "i can't get the photocopy of the death cert cos it is my mom's relative that passed away and i accompanied my mom to malaysia (which i regret now)." wth wth wth wth wth. what are these man!!! she's really pissing me off la. to think that she's a straight As student. big deal. no integrity and responsibility. get lost. im not going to pity her anymore man.
went for a dental appt after years and years of not seeing dr tan. guess what! she's now Senior Consultant of Orthodontics at Alexandra Hospital!! she's damn good la! and she remembers me, but couldnt recognize me. hahahaha.. she said i changed so much since she last saw me. then...... i got scolded cos my teeth and gums were in bad shape! BOOHOO. of cos la! 3yrs plus never go to her leh. i miss her so much. =) so i've got mild gum disease (gengivitis or smth) and i've to see her in 3 mths. hee..
i must say that i love all my group members other than S. uncle chris, shirley, sherry, mz. they're wonderful ppl and its such fun working with them. shirley is insanely funny. she does WEIRD things man. mz and i can bitch and bitch and bitch all day. lalala. about S of cos! sherry is beauty queen w brains can. though she's always late for class, but its ok, cos she turns up at least!! uncle chris is just so cute la. he's a cute uncle, and im so serious about it. very nice guy, very encouraging to all of us (like motivational leader lidat), very 'act stern' papa to his kids, and very very tolerant of ALLLLLLL the noise from the 4 girls! hee.. sometimes he laughs and has that face like he doesn't know what to do w us 4. hahahahahaa... maybe we're worse than his 2 boys at home! so thankful i got to work w them. and i think the S issue just bonded us even more.

my lappie died on me today. i was using it to do my methodology section of my rp when the screen went blank, the engine sound went off, and *poof!*... everything was gone. i couldnt switch it on, nothing worked. so i went bonkers and started calling all the people i think knew smth about comps. after describing my situation to a few friends, all said my lappie was GONE. "cannot make it alr". "die alr la". "forget it, get a new lappie". (ok i was happy to hear the last one. a new lappie is so tempting.) BUT BUT BUT.. i had documents on my current lappie! documents that i have to RE-DO!!! its absolutely wicked to make me sit here for hours doing things i've done b4! my last ditch attempt to salvage my documents on my harddisk was to take it out and connect it to someone else's comp. retrieve whatever i can, and then dump the lappie. so i went to chris' place to do just that. after watching him have his dinner, and after tasting his homemade salsa dip, we went to his room to figure out what we could do to my poor lappie. then with his magic touch, my lappie could be switched on!!!!!!!!!! apparently, the batt was loose and that's why i couldnt on it. -_-" ALL THAT TROUBLE FOR A LOOSE BATT. wtf.
limzhikai lost his phone. lost all his contacts. so yea, he's gonna be uncontactable for quite some time.
im starting to think too much about our r/s again. it isn't good. no, it isn't.

my pieces of work. im so sad the lighting doesnt do justice to the colors of the nail polish AT ALL. they are gorgeous nail colors. especially the one on the utmost right. its glittery purplish blue. for the one on the left, i had no idea what i did. i drew ribbon and hearts... then i drew everything else which made it look the way it looks now. haa.. did my mom's nails and she's happy w it. not up to my own standards though. =( more practice required...

wed: study hard for com125 paper tmr.
thurs: justify an evaluation essay for fri.
fri: complete essay final draft, tuition and prepare for sat focus group interview.
sat: focus group interview, prepare for presentation rehearsal and prepare outline for com242 research paper.
sun: presentation rehearsal at ab's place and finish com242 outline.
when isit gonna end?
bought pretty shoes w evy yday and we were so darn glad we didnt splurge on useless items (Eg. Godiva and Guess heels.) we passed by Tinkletoes (i think that's the name of the shop...) at marina sq and got ourselves nice and cheap shoes at $19.90 only!! i so love the wedges. then she got her royal purple feminine looking skirt cos i spotted it at this sales area. only $23 can! and she looked like some teacher-wannabe wearing it. haa..
i need suggestions for places w nice dresses. i need one for bday and one for kor's wedding dinner. don't mind splurging on a nice dress, but it has to be gorgeous! been walking arnd town but nothing seems to catch my eye. bebe has nice dresses but they are a lil over-the-top. im in love w a loewe dress and a gucci dress, but of course, i don't have that kinda moneyyyy. =(

sorry bout the color cos it was taken at 4+am and like, flash was too bright, without flash too dark. so to let u guys see the design as well as the color, i uploaded both. gimme comments pls! oh these are on fake nails, so it'd be done and pasted on. i'll only dare to conquer real nails after i've practiced enough to boost confidence.
