the new semester has started. all over again, im receiving course syllabus, reminding myself of what a torture the next 15 weeks will be. essays (lots), projects (aplenty), presentations (few) and classes (massive). omg omg omg omfg. oh well, there's com 441 where the lecturer reads from the slides and provides little information of her own, there's bob (gasp, again!) and his hilarious antics, there's phi115 where the lecturer looks like just another student (even when she's pregnant). and and im so glad its dr selina tan taking ugc 211 again. =) huge sigh of relief.
so the kotex event has 'officially' ended. met people of all kinds. be it the company ppl, the part timers like me, or the clients. i have enjoyed working w aria and al dente ppl so much i took for granted nice colleagues. some colleagues just dont spare a thought for the rest when they take advantage of the others. not that im acting all prima donna, but i think its just basic courtesy/respect that one spares a thought for others u're working with! or like.... don't be stupid and do things u aren't supposed to right in front of the client! i always thought that was just like.... basic and 'no need to be taught'. but some just dont get it. and they get pissed when reminded. so.... good luck to you!~ haa. anw there were really nice and fun ppl that worked too! belle worked for 2 days! and there was shino and shah and derrick and other guys arnd who made time pass so much faster! oh the photographers are really nice to chat with too. can play w their cams. i DIGGGG manual cams!!!! =) it was really nice earning a lil bit of money and making frens. oh sidetrack, shah told me bout his 'hen party' stint and it was so damn fun! earn alot as well! *envious*
collected my nike race pack and met herge (little chef friend!) on my way there! hee. the race pack is so interesting! maybe im just suaku, but i really like the water bottle and tee and all the things tagged 31.08.2008. so cool! haa.. was chatting w belle bout all our little flings b4 we kind of 'settled down' w our respective bfs. and how our bfs irk us with the things they do. how i got so pissed over this ex of his that was causing so many problems between us. how she got upset with this garage bitch. how we're both so happy that most in the group have found their partners and are quite 'settled' and like grown-up boys. haa... we were so happily discussing zk's stupid idea of all the girls getting pregnant tgt. and then all the guys gan chiong tgt when its close to delivery date. its seriously insane, but seriously funny. just need a lil imagination...... and everything will be so damn hilarious. oh gosh.
just got back from dinner and drinks at Graze, this gorgeous place to chill at Rochester Park. the guys are complaining about work as usual, crazy drinking as usual. oh yes, THANK YOU ANDY for the dinner!! hahahahaa. sometimes girls do get their way just by sulking and whining a little. but im truly, awfully, painfully broke. i had $19 in my wallet. and i was whining about how i had no money to buy texts this sem. then beloved andy offered to treat me today since i 'gave face' and turned up after so long! hee.. anw jake got himself a pretty and sweet gf, haley. had a great time chatting w her. and seems like the group dynamics have kinda changed a lil since, and it was indeed different without nic arnd. so used to chatting w him till the cows come home. oh wells. things just refuse to stay the same. i miss them, surely. it was such an enjoyable night out.
there is bound to be some disappointments, some hurt, some happiness, some joy in every single relationship. i 'd only give up when i know my heart no longer skips a beat when his lips fall on mine. i believe its tough, and almost a one-in-a-million chance, that one finds someone that he/she is TRULY happy with. therefore i will cherish this relationship i have before me, cos i know hardly any guy has made me this happy, and stayed around for so long.

and so it goes...
Girl has been broke since God-knows-when, and decides that she can save on food and diet at the same time. For that, Girl fixes her own meals whenever possible. Girl goes to mama shop at her void deck and stocks up on eggs and bread. For a week, Girl has egg sandwich for lunch! After calculations, each day's lunch costs less than $1. Girl succeeds in saving money. =) Girl now wishes to learn more cheap and nice food so she won't starve to death. 8 months. 8 months more and Girl graduates. Patience..... Patience my Girl.

Lex! Track his growth!!
yday darius, zk and i went prawning! check out these HUGE prawns!! bbq-ed and ate them FRESH!~ wheeeee~ super super nice can! look at those pincers. powerful huh! =) im into prawning and fishing, but im not ah pek ok. its super fun and relaxing to spend an entire night prawning. but it is damn tiring to stand arnd for 6 hrs in orchard!
yesyes. im working for an event for our beloved sanitary napkin brand, K****. if u see me in town, in raffles place, giving out samples of the product, JUST TAKE LA! dont understand why some girls like so paiseh to take the samples. goodness, every girl needs it can! one guy entertained us the entire day. instead of the conventional lines we use, he went "take it! this is good stuff!", "use it!", "smell it, smell it, now TAKE IT!", "this will save you one day!". girls were naturally stunned by whatever he did or said la. freakin hilarious guy la. another fun part is when we cant tell if the person is a guy or girl. or when men step forward wanting the sample (kiasu singaporeans.... as usual). soon, the guys started distributing the samples saying they were elbow pads, perfect for perspiration, great for first aid, blah blah blah. that's how we entertain ourselves thru the 6 freakin hours in town........ so if u see me, JUST TAKE IT or i'll slap u with it man!
