i have to blog today. cos its chu 5 and its dar's bday. PLUS, my dad did a ridiculous thing today.
he called back to say, "girl ah, get ready, 10 mins i pick u up and we'll go toyota showroom." in half an hour, i was at the showroom looking at a beige corolla altis. then he said, "hmmm, not bad... not bad. ok." and the next thing i knew, he was signing the papers to get the car alr. and another amazing thing, he's gonna finish paying for this car + loan in 1 yr. that makes it about $2183 a month. i dont think my pay will even go that high in this recession. yup. so a altis is arriving in mid feb-mid march. and its gonna be called Mica. (girls have this thing bout naming their precious things.) maybe altis owners would know why. =)
to celebrate dar's bday, we decided to have kuishinbo!! the crabs are so freakin nice la! haa. totally loved the food. maybe it was cos of all the trouble i went thru to find dar's pressie b4 the dinner. evy kinda gave me the wrong directions, and i took some time to find the shop she told me. then the shopkeeper pissed me off so bad and there was no stock for dar's shoe. cabbed to cine to check out Leftfoot but they didnt have stocks either. then i made zk check wheelock for it. none either. kinda argued w zk too. cos he kept saying that i shdnt go thru so much trouble, i shd just go have kuishinbo and give dar a angbao. but i felt that a present showed more sincerity than $$$. so being stubborn, i argued w zk, again. in the end we were left w no choice but to give dar an angbao though. =(
i really miss hanging out w belle, qy, dar, phone, zk and gang. (sorry i didnt include the newer members of the gang... like evy and adrian.) but what i meant was, i miss the kinda noisy, bitchy, whiny times we had every single time we met up. and it didnt matter who works where. it didnt matter who's broke up with who. we kinda supported each other. and it was nice. just relaxing, and being happy. no doubt people change, people mature. but i always feel like a kid out w zk's frens. we're always acting like we're still in jc/poly. haa... yupp. im getting a little preferential here.

havent found the motivation to transfer my pics from Lexis (my cam), so this will be another random post. yday night, nic, mel, dar, eug, zk and me had a HUGE buffet dinner at some hotel i dont even know. the one opposite parkway parade. i guess even the word HUGE is an understatement. cos after all the laksa, sashimi, beef, pig trotters, mee rebus, icecream, fruits and their durian paste...... all of us couldnt walk. and i totally mean it when i say we couldnt walk. haa.. but the food was nice though! for $39 per pax and 4+1 free, it was a great deal. all except me ran for the durian paste, and topped it over ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING. =(( i had to bear with their durian breath, durian burps and durian farts all night. damn. then after the feast, i literally 'died' outside the hotel. according to dar, i went pale, cos all the blood had to go to my stomach to digest the food. like a hangover, i suffered for about an hour of food coma before i returned to normal. then today, its just more food cos mel and anna brought food to sch to share. hee..
its the last sem in sch, and i bet i will miss this bunch of nonsensical idiots. of cos i dont mean that they are dumb or anything, but its just all the crap that we do.... i dont think any of my other frens are that crazy and spontaneous. i'll miss acting like a kid. cos i bet i cant be like that when i start work. boo.
a big big DAMN cos i think i will kena my 'big aunty' during cny. ARGHHH.

waipo had her 80th bday yday! =)) had a lil celebration dinner for her at this restaurant in yishun, and surprisingly, they serve really nice food! pictures and details later. cos i just woke up and i dont wanna go thru the trouble. just wanted to say that my tagboard's pretty screwed up. so for 2 weeks i've been trying to type in "MY EMAIL IS SHUXUAN79@HOTMAIL.COM!!!" to brianna, but i couldnt. wtff.
